Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Ripe Pulp, operated by CoreExponent LLC (“Ripe Pulp”, “we”, “us”), collects, uses, and safeguards your information when you use our platform. By using Ripe Pulp, you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly (such as your name, email, and payment details) and information generated as you use the platform (such as usage analytics and device information).

Where you choose to connect a third-party account — for example your YouTube channel — we also receive information from that service, as described below.

How we use information

We use your information to operate and improve the platform, process payments, provide support, and communicate with you about your account.

YouTube API Services

Ripe Pulp uses YouTube API Services. By using the YouTube-related features of our platform, you are also agreeing to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google’s handling of the data it receives is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.

What YouTube data we collect

When you connect your YouTube account, you authorise us through Google’s OAuth consent screen, and we receive an access token from Google. We never see or store your Google password. Using that authorisation we retrieve:

• Channel information — channel name, ID, description, thumbnail, and public statistics such as subscriber, view, and video counts.
• Video and playlist information — titles, descriptions, thumbnails, publication dates, playlist membership, and performance metrics such as views, likes, and comment counts.
• Engagement indicators — the aggregate counts YouTube returns alongside a video, such as views, likes and the number of comments. We do not read the comments themselves.

Where a creator chooses to appear in our brand-partnership features, the channel figures shown to brands — audience size, video activity and engagement indicators — come from that creator’s own connected channel, and are shown only because they opted in. We do not search or crawl YouTube for data about creators who have not connected an account and asked to be listed.

How we use YouTube data

We use it solely to provide the features you asked for: analytics and reporting on your channel, content insights and recommendations, importing your videos into courses and pages you build on Ripe Pulp, and surfacing creators to brands for potential sponsorships. We do not sell YouTube data, and we do not use it for interest-based advertising or to build advertising profiles.

How we share YouTube data

Your YouTube data is shown to you and to people you have given access to your Ripe Pulp account, such as your team members. Publicly available channel information may be shown to brands within our partnership features. Beyond that we share it only with the infrastructure providers that run our platform (hosting, storage, and database providers acting on our instructions), or where the law requires it.

Storage, retention and deletion

Authorisation tokens are stored encrypted. YouTube data we cache to keep the product responsive is refreshed from the YouTube API or deleted within 30 days, in line with the YouTube API Services Terms. When you disconnect your YouTube account, or delete your Ripe Pulp account, we delete the stored tokens and the YouTube data we hold for you.

Revoking our access

You can disconnect YouTube at any time from Settings → Integrations inside Ripe Pulp. You can also revoke our access directly at Google, independently of us, via the Google security settings page: https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Google Workspace: Sheets, Calendar and Drive

You can connect Google Sheets, Google Calendar and Google Drive to Ripe Pulp. Each is a separate connection asking for the narrowest access its own feature needs — connecting one does not give us access to the others. Google’s own handling of the data it receives is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.

What we receive, and why

Google Sheets. Permission to read and write the spreadsheets you point us at, so an automation you build can add a row when something happens — a new lead, a sale, a booking. We write rows you have configured; we do not read your spreadsheets for any other purpose.

Google Calendar. Permission to create events, to list the calendars you can write to, and to see when you are busy. Events are created for bookings taken through Ripe Pulp and for automations you build. The busy check is what stops somebody booking you at a time you already have something else — and it returns only the start and end of a busy period. It does not tell us the title, the guests, the location or any other detail of your appointments, and we never request access that would.

Google Drive. Read-only permission, used so we can list your files and spreadsheets for you to choose from inside Ripe Pulp. Nothing in Ripe Pulp writes to, moves or deletes anything in your Drive. This connection is optional: every feature that can use it also works without it.

How we use and share it

We use this data solely to provide the features you asked for. We do not sell it, we do not use it for advertising or to build advertising profiles, and we do not use it to train generalised artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models. It is shown to you and to people you have given access to your Ripe Pulp account, such as your team members, and is otherwise shared only with the infrastructure providers that run our platform, acting on our instructions, or where the law requires it.

Limited Use

Ripe Pulp’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Storage, retention and deletion

Authorisation tokens are stored encrypted and never reach your browser. We do not keep a copy of your spreadsheets, your calendar or your Drive files: we read what we need at the moment you ask for it. Busy times are used to work out which appointment slots to offer and are not stored. When you disconnect a Google service, or delete your Ripe Pulp account, we delete the stored tokens for it.

Revoking our access

You can disconnect any Google service at any time from Settings → Integrations → Google inside Ripe Pulp, and each one disconnects independently. You can also revoke our access directly at Google, independently of us, at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Other services you connect

The same principles apply to any other account you connect, such as a payment provider or an email service: we request only the access the feature needs, use the data only to provide that feature, and stop using it when you disconnect the account.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand how the platform is used. You can clear or block cookies in your browser, though parts of the platform will not work without them.

Security

We protect your information with encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and regular review of who and what can reach it. No system is perfectly secure, but we treat credentials and third-party tokens as our most sensitive data and handle them accordingly.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export, or delete your information from your account settings, or by contacting us. Where the law gives you additional rights over your personal data, we will honour them.

Children

Ripe Pulp is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the platform changes. When we do, we update the date at the top of this page, and we will tell you about material changes before they take effect.
