Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Ripe Pulp, operated by CoreExponent LLC (“Ripe Pulp”, “we”, “us”), collects, uses, and safeguards your information when you use our platform. By using Ripe Pulp, you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly (such as your name, email, and payment details) and information generated as you use the platform (such as usage analytics and device information).

Where you choose to connect a third-party account — for example your YouTube channel — we also receive information from that service, as described below.

How we use information

We use your information to operate and improve the platform, process payments, provide support, and communicate with you about your account.

YouTube API Services

Ripe Pulp uses YouTube API Services. By using the YouTube-related features of our platform, you are also agreeing to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google’s handling of the data it receives is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.

What YouTube data we collect

When you connect your YouTube account, you authorise us through Google’s OAuth consent screen, and we receive an access token from Google. We never see or store your Google password. Using that authorisation we retrieve:

• Channel information — channel name, ID, description, thumbnail, and public statistics such as subscriber, view, and video counts.
• Video and playlist information — titles, descriptions, thumbnails, publication dates, playlist membership, and performance metrics such as views, likes, and comment counts.
• Engagement indicators — the aggregate counts YouTube returns alongside a video, such as views, likes and the number of comments. We do not read the comments themselves.

Where you connect your channel, the figures shown to brands in our partnership features — audience size, video activity and engagement indicators — come from your own connected channel.

Separately, we use the YouTube API Services to build public profiles of YouTube channels whose owners have not joined Ripe Pulp, from information those channels make public. What we collect for those profiles, why, and how a creator can claim or remove theirs is set out in Creators who have not joined Ripe Pulp below.

How we use YouTube data

We use it solely to provide the features you asked for: analytics and reporting on your channel, content insights and recommendations, importing your videos into courses and pages you build on Ripe Pulp, showing your channel figures to brands when you choose to (see below), and helping your AI assistants answer from your own channel and content. We do not sell YouTube data, and we do not use it for interest-based advertising or to build advertising profiles.

How we share YouTube data

Your YouTube data is shown to you and to people you have given access to your Ripe Pulp account, such as your team members. Figures from a channel you connected (channel name, audience size, views and engagement) reach a brand only when you choose to share them: when you publish your media kit, when you mark yourself open to offers (so brands matching your categories can see your kit), or when you send a brand a pitch. Nothing from your connected channel is shown to brands before you do one of these, and you can remove a channel from your kit or unpublish it at any time. Public information in the creator profiles described below is shown to brands and to anyone who visits a public profile page. Beyond that we share it only with the infrastructure providers that run our platform (hosting, storage, and database providers acting on our instructions), or where the law requires it.

Storage, retention and deletion

Authorisation tokens are stored encrypted. YouTube data we cache to keep the product responsive is refreshed from the YouTube API or deleted within 30 days, in line with the YouTube API Services Terms. When you disconnect your YouTube account, or delete your Ripe Pulp account, we delete the stored tokens and the YouTube data we hold for you.

Revoking our access

You can disconnect YouTube at any time from Settings → Integrations inside Ripe Pulp. You can also revoke our access directly at Google, independently of us, via the Google security settings page: https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Google Workspace: Sheets, Calendar and Drive

You can connect Google Sheets, Google Calendar and Google Drive to Ripe Pulp. Each is a separate connection asking for the narrowest access its own feature needs — connecting one does not give us access to the others. Google’s own handling of the data it receives is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.

What we receive, and why

Google Sheets. Access only to the spreadsheets you choose. You pick a spreadsheet with Google’s own file picker, and Ripe Pulp can then read its tab names and add rows to it, so an automation you build can add a row when something happens — a new lead, a sale, a booking. We cannot see, list or open your other spreadsheets. We write rows you have configured; we do not read your spreadsheets for any other purpose. A Google Sheets connection made before 21 October 2026 keeps the broader access it was granted then — to read and write spreadsheets you point us at by link — until you disconnect and reconnect it.

Google Calendar. Permission to create, move and delete events on the calendars you own, to list your calendars so you can choose one, and to see when you are busy. Events are created for bookings taken through Ripe Pulp and for automations you build, and the only events we ever move or delete are ones Ripe Pulp created — when a booking is rescheduled or cancelled. We do not read the contents of your other events. The busy check is what stops somebody booking you at a time you already have something else — and it returns only the start and end of a busy period. It does not tell us the title, the guests, the location or any other detail of your appointments, and we never request access that would.

Google Drive. Access only to the files you choose. You pick a file or spreadsheet with Google’s own file picker, and Ripe Pulp can then open that file — and nothing else in your Drive. We cannot see, list or search the rest of your Drive. Nothing in Ripe Pulp writes to, moves or deletes anything in your Drive. This connection is optional: every feature that can use it also works without it.

How we use and share it

We use this data solely to provide the features you asked for. We do not sell it, we do not use it for advertising or to build advertising profiles, and we do not use it to train generalised artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models. It is shown to you and to people you have given access to your Ripe Pulp account, such as your team members, and is otherwise shared only with the infrastructure providers that run our platform, acting on our instructions, or where the law requires it.

Limited Use

Ripe Pulp’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Storage, retention and deletion

Authorisation tokens are stored encrypted on our servers. The one exception is Google’s file picker, used by the Sheets and Drive connections, which runs in your browser: to open it we send your browser a short-lived access token (it expires within an hour) that can reach only the files you choose. The long-lived token that renews it never leaves our servers. We do not keep a copy of your spreadsheets, your calendar or your Drive files: we read what we need at the moment you ask for it. Busy times are used to work out which appointment slots to offer and are not stored. When you disconnect a Google service, or delete your Ripe Pulp account, we delete the stored tokens for it.

Revoking our access

You can disconnect any Google service at any time from Settings → Integrations → Google inside Ripe Pulp, and each one disconnects independently. You can also revoke our access directly at Google, independently of us, at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Creators who have not joined Ripe Pulp

Ripe Pulp publishes a directory of creators so that brands and collaborators can find people to work with. It includes public profiles of YouTube channels whose owners do not have a Ripe Pulp account. Those profiles are marked as unclaimed. If one of them is about you, this section explains what we hold and what you can do about it.

Where the information comes from

We obtain it from YouTube, through the YouTube API Services, and only from information your channel makes public. To find channels we also use openly licensed public datasets that list channel identifiers; we keep only the identifier from those datasets, never the figures they contain.

What we collect

• Your channel’s name, handle, identifier, profile image and description, and the country and topic categories YouTube reports for it.
• Public statistics such as subscriber, view and video counts, and the public view, like and comment counts of recent uploads, from which we calculate an engagement rate. We do not read the comments themselves.
• A business contact email address, but only where you have published one in your public channel description.

Why, and on what basis

We use this information to show your public profile, to let brands and collaborators discover creators and ask to work with them, and to invite you to claim your profile. Where the law requires a legal basis, we rely on our legitimate interest, and that of the businesses using Ripe Pulp, in helping creators and brands find each other using information creators have chosen to publish. We have weighed that interest against your rights: we use only public information, label the profile as unclaimed, do not let search engines index an unclaimed profile, and make claiming and removal straightforward.

Who can see it, and who may contact you

An unclaimed profile is visible to visitors of Ripe Pulp. We may send one email to the business address published on your channel, inviting you to claim or remove the profile, and brands using Ripe Pulp may contact that address about working with you. Every such email includes a link to stop further messages. When you use it, we record that address and no one on Ripe Pulp can email it through our platform again. We do not sell this information.

How long we keep it

Information obtained from the YouTube API Services is refreshed from YouTube or deleted within 30 days, as the YouTube API Services Terms require. A profile we cannot refresh within that time — for example because the channel was deleted or made private — is taken out of the directory, and its description, image and contact address are deleted; we keep only its public counts, so that it can be restored if the channel becomes available again.

Your choices

• Claim your profile to control what it says, turn it into a full Ripe Pulp profile, or hide it. Use “If this is you, claim it” on the profile page.
• Ask us to remove it, without creating an account, from the profile page or by emailing privacy@ripepulp.com with a link to the profile. Once removed, a profile is not re-added when our index is next refreshed.
• Object, or ask for access, correction or deletion, by emailing the same address. We will respond within the time the law applicable to you requires.

Other services you connect

The same principles apply to any other account you connect, such as a payment provider or an email service: we request only the access the feature needs, use the data only to provide that feature, and stop using it when you disconnect the account.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand how the platform is used. You can clear or block cookies in your browser, though parts of the platform will not work without them.

Security

We protect your information with encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and regular review of who and what can reach it. No system is perfectly secure, but we treat credentials and third-party tokens as our most sensitive data and handle them accordingly.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export, or delete your information from your account settings, or by contacting us. Where the law gives you additional rights over your personal data, we will honour them.

Depending on where you live, those rights may include the right to know what personal information we hold and where it came from, to object to or restrict how we use it, to have it deleted, to receive a copy, and to complain to your local data protection authority. California residents may exercise these rights and will not be discriminated against for doing so; we do not sell personal information. To make a request, email privacy@ripepulp.com. We may need to confirm your identity, or that you control the channel a profile describes, before acting on a request.

Children

Ripe Pulp is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the platform changes. When we do, we update the date at the top of this page, and we will tell you about material changes before they take effect.
