Creator Profiles Policy

What a creator profile is

Ripe Pulp, operated by CoreExponent LLC, runs a directory that helps brands, businesses and other creators find creators to work with. Some profiles in it belong to people who have joined Ripe Pulp. Others are built from information a creator has published on another platform — today, a public YouTube channel — for creators who have not joined. Those are unclaimed profiles, and each one says so on the page.

What an unclaimed profile does not mean

• It does not mean the creator uses, endorses or is affiliated with Ripe Pulp, or has agreed to be contacted or to work through it.
• It is not a review, rating or recommendation of the creator by Ripe Pulp.
• Figures on it are taken from the source platform at the time shown and can be out of date or incomplete. Engagement figures are calculated by us from public counts and are labelled as such.
• Names, channel names, logos and images belong to their owners. They are shown to identify the creator, not to suggest any connection with us.

We do not take bookings or payments on behalf of a creator who has not claimed their profile. Someone who asks to work with an unclaimed creator is told that their request will wait until the creator claims the profile.

What we collect and how long we keep it

We use only information the creator has made public, obtained through the YouTube API Services, and refresh it within 30 days. A profile we cannot refresh in time is taken out of the directory and its description, image and contact address are deleted. The full list of what we collect, our reasons and your privacy rights are in the Privacy Policy. Unclaimed profiles are not offered to search engines for indexing.

Claiming your profile

Claiming a profile connects it to your Ripe Pulp account, so you can decide what it says and whether it is shown at all. It is free. You can claim in either of two ways:

• With a code in your channel description. Choose “If this is you, claim it” on the profile and sign in. We give you a code that is valid for 48 hours. Paste it anywhere in your YouTube channel description and press Verify; once we have seen it you can delete it. This proves you control the channel itself.
• From an invitation email. If we sent an invitation to the business address published on your channel, open the link and sign in with that same email address. Signing in proves you control the address we invited, and the profile becomes yours. If you sign in with a different address, the claim will not go through; use the channel-code method instead.

By claiming you confirm that the profile is about you, or about a channel or organisation you are authorised to act for.

False and disputed claims

Claiming a profile that is not yours breaches our Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy. If you believe someone has claimed your profile, email support@ripepulp.com with a link to the profile. We may ask both parties to prove control of the channel again. While we investigate we may hide the profile, and if a claim was false we will reverse it, restore the profile to its rightful owner and may close the account that made it.

Removing a profile

• If you have claimed it, you can hide it yourself at any time, and it takes effect immediately.
• If you have not, use “ask us to remove it” on the profile page, or email privacy@ripepulp.com with a link to the profile. You do not need an account. A person reviews each request, and we may ask you to show that the profile is about you or that you represent the creator.

Once removed, a profile stays removed: refreshing our index will not bring it back. If you later join Ripe Pulp or claim the channel, you can choose to show it again.

Emails about your profile

We may send one invitation to the business email address published on your channel, telling you that the profile exists and how to claim or remove it. Brands using Ripe Pulp may also write to that address about working with you. Every such email identifies who sent it and why, and contains a link to stop further messages. When you use that link, no one on Ripe Pulp can email that address through our platform again.

Other platforms

Instagram and TikTok do not make profile information about other people available to us. We do not scrape them, and we do not create unclaimed profiles from them. A creator who joins Ripe Pulp can connect those accounts to their own profile.
