Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Ripe Pulp, a platform operated by CoreExponent LLC (“Ripe Pulp”, “we”, “us”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

Fees

Ripe Pulp charges a platform fee on each sale you make through the platform, which depends on your plan: Free 4.9%, Basic 3.5%, Pro 2.5%, Business 1.2%. Card processing is charged separately by the payment processor at its own published rate — currently 2.9% + 30¢ per transaction — and we do not mark it up. So a sale costs you our percentage plus the processor ’s: 7.8% + 30¢ on Free, 6.4% + 30¢ on Basic, 5.4% + 30¢ on Pro and 4.1% + 30¢ on Business. Paid plans are billed monthly in addition.

Taking payment for your sales

If you have not connected your own payout account, Ripe Pulp collects payment for your sales as your agent and holds the proceeds on your behalf until we can pay them to you. Once you connect a payout account, payments for your sales are processed directly to that account and Ripe Pulp does not hold them at any point.

In both cases you remain solely responsible for delivering the products and services you sell, for how they are described, and for your dealings with your customers.

Getting paid

Money we collect for you is held for a short period before it becomes available, so that a refund in that window is a simple reversal. It is then paid out once your balance passes a minimum amount, below which a transfer would cost more than it moves. We publish the current holding period and minimum in your Payouts screen and may change them.

Money held for you is held as your agent. It is not a deposit, it does not earn interest for you, and it is not held in a separate trust account.

There is a limit to how much we will hold for you before you have connected a payout account. If you reach it, we may decline further sales until you connect one. We will tell you before that happens.

Refunds, disputes and deductions

If a customer is refunded, or a payment is reversed or charged back, the amount is deducted from money we owe you. If we have already paid it to you, it becomes a negative balance which we recover from your future earnings. You authorise us to make those deductions.

While a payment is disputed we may withhold that payment until the dispute is resolved. We withhold only the disputed payment; your other earnings are not affected, and if the dispute is resolved in your favour the money is released.

You will reimburse Ripe Pulp for any chargeback, refund, fine, penalty or claim arising from a sale of your products, including amounts a card network or payment provider takes back from us.

We may suspend your ability to take payments where there is a pattern of unresolved disputes, where we suspect fraud, or where the law requires it.

Selling through your Ripe Pulp site

Where you sell your own products through a site, funnel or page hosted by Ripe Pulp, you agree to take payment through Ripe Pulp rather than directing customers to an external checkout or payment link. This is how the platform is paid for, and it is what lets us handle refunds, disputes and your customers’ access to what they bought.

This does not restrict what you do elsewhere. You are free to sell anywhere else, on your own site or another platform, on whatever terms you like — the requirement applies only to the pages we host for you.

Where we cannot pay you

Paying you depends on our payment providers being able to reach your country and your bank. In some countries we cannot pay you by bank transfer and an alternative may be available; in others we are not permitted to do business with you at all. Where either applies we will tell you, and you should not sell through Ripe Pulp until there is a way for you to be paid.

If we hold money for you and cannot reach you to pay it, we will hold it and try to contact you. Unclaimed amounts are dealt with in accordance with applicable law.

YouTube API Services

Ripe Pulp uses YouTube API Services to provide its YouTube features, including channel analytics and reporting, content insights, importing your videos into courses and pages, and — where you opt in — showing your channel’s figures to brands in our partnership features.

By using those features you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service, which are incorporated into these Terms by reference. Google’s use of information it receives is governed by the Google Privacy Policy. What we collect from YouTube, how we use and share it, how long we keep it, and how to revoke our access are set out in our Privacy Policy.

You may disconnect your YouTube account at any time in Settings → Integrations, and you may revoke Ripe Pulp’s access directly at Google’s security settings page, https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.

You agree to use Ripe Pulp’s YouTube features only with channels and content you own or are authorised to manage, and not in a way that would breach the YouTube Terms of Service or the YouTube API Services Developer Policies.

Content

You retain ownership of the content you create. You are responsible for ensuring your content complies with applicable laws and does not infringe the rights of others.
